How Voiced Memories works
A photo and a voice, kept together. Here is what that looks like.
- 1
Choose a photograph
Start with a picture that means something, a person, a place or a moment.
- 2
Tell the story in your own voice
Record the memory behind the photo. Words are not rewritten, so the real voice, humour and expressions are kept.
- 3
Keep adding, one memory at a time
The collection grows gradually. There is no rush and no finished production to aim for.
- 4
Share privately with family
Invite loved ones to listen, even if they live in another city or province.
Two ways to take part
At home: families can build a private collection together, with help getting started if needed.
In the community: the Life Story Café brings small groups together to share photos and stories.
