Every Life Story Café asks something different of the person facilitating it. We're building certification to match — one path for community delivery, one for therapeutic practice.

Track One — Community

For senior centres, churches, and the friends already gathering around someone.

Built for activity coordinators, volunteers, faith communities, and family or friends leading cafés for older adults with normal age-related memory loss — not a dementia care setting. The focus is warmth, group facilitation, and prompting at a level that fits everyday conversation.

  • 05PracticumLead one observed café session, signed off by program staff.

Same café. The difference is how you prompt.

Track Two — Therapeutic

For those working with people whose cognitive level is changing.
